Founder and co-founder
Shri. Karuppa Gounder and Shrimathi Chellammal.
Though born and brought up in Palayapalayam, our founder, Thiru Karuppa Gounder, possessed lofty ideals of educating underprivileged village children and lighting a lamp in their hearts and lives.
A multi-talented and intellectual individual by nature, he also had a deep interest in agriculture.
His better half, Thirumathi Chellammal, the co-founder of this institution, extended unwavering moral and physical support to him in all possible ways.
With her strong support, he transformed their home into a place of learning, where underprivileged children could stay late in the evenings and prepare for their SSLC public examinations.
With his upgraded educational qualifications and dedication, he became a distinguished Headmaster of a Government-aided middle school and earned the profound love and affection of the people in and around Namakkal.
Even today, he is fondly remembered as “Periya Vathiyar,” and his beloved wife as “Periya Teacher
CHAIRMAN
Dr. M.K. Ramasamy
He was born in Muthukapatti, Namakkal, and completed his schooling in Sendamangalam. He pursued his B.V.Sc. degree in Chennai. He later served in the Aavin Milk Company as a General Manager across various districts and also contributed his valuable service to the Sakthi Group of Industries in Coimbatore.
After his voluntary retirement from service, he assumed the role of Chairman of this institution.
Since then, the institution has expanded into various domains in the field of education and has undergone continuous development. It has reached significant milestones in both infrastructure and internal administration.
As the Financial Administrator, he has laid a strong foundation for the multifaceted growth of the institution.
Secretary and Correspondent
Smt. K. Saradhamani
She is a source of inspiration and the daughter of the Founder and Co-Founder of this institution. She completed her secondary education at this institution and pursued her higher secondary education at Kalaimagal Kalvi Nilayam in Erode. She later obtained her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from SRC Women’s College, Trichy.
She also holds a postgraduate degree in English and served as the Headmistress of Bharathi High School for 33 years with distinction. After her retirement, she assumed the role of Secretary and Correspondent of the school.
With her extensive teaching experience and the administrative skills inherited from her parents, she has been an exemplary leader for principals, teachers, and students alike.
Compassionate and kind-hearted, she is deeply aware of the challenges faced by the rural community. Supported by a dedicated team of efficient teachers and talented students, she manages the administration of the institution effectively and with great commitment.
DIRECTOR
Dr. Karthik Ram
Our Director is an exemplary visionary who believes in the uniqueness of every child and focuses on laying a strong foundation for young learners.
His humble beginnings trace back to this very same school in the small village of Reddipatti, Namakkal. This connection enables him to blend empathy with a holistic approach to academic development in our institution.
He completed his M.B.B.S. from the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research and pursued specialization in General Surgery at the prestigious Stanley Medical College. He also holds an MRCS degree from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and is a gold medalist in DNB (Plastic Surgery) from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai. He is currently the Chief Cosmetic Surgeon and Managing Director of Chennai Plastic Surgery. His significant contributions to the aesthetic healthcare field have transformed the lives of thousands.
Under his leadership, the “Cosmo Skills Fellowship Program” is conducted for aspiring plastic surgeons. His research work and publications stand out and contribute to advancements in the field. His extensive international exposure has enabled him to bring global educational practices and cultural insights into the institution.
With a deep understanding of real-world challenges and the gaps in academic systems, he provides valuable guidance to our school. The wealth of knowledge gained from his academic and professional journey helps the institution deliver world-class learning experiences, preparing students to meet evolving global challenges.
